Can I also say, to quote my old mate Jim, I would eat the peanuts out of Jennifer Connelly's Snickers! She is gorgeous and the film clip for Space Age Love Song still gets me, is it still Wednesday

freakin' yes! I remember when they shot the first one at Fighter Town Miramar. i'm not sure if it's still there but the little bar where Goose played "Great Balls of Fire" on the piano was an attraction a lot of tourist would check out by the airport.

This will be a fun one to watch on Netflix. Although it just adds to my pet peeve about the total lack of anything original in film making these days. Everything is a remake or update of an old film.

As an aside, I first saw Top Gun in German. Date night in Nürnberg. Those were the days.

First time I saw it was in Germany, but not in German. As you said M_Six, those were the days. Definitely my all time favorite movie!
