So a local MB dealer has a certified pre owned 2007 CLK550 with nav/xenons/moonroof (I am not familiar with all the packages) with 14k asking $42900.
I know they only come with the auto tranny, but has anyone compared this model with an automatic 335i coupe, and chosen the 335? On paper, it appears that the hp edge goes to the 550, given the v8 and the 382hp. Then again, maybe it also weighs a lot more than the 335?

it would be more appropriate to compare a CLK 500 to a 650i....

I think MB engines has improved greatly since they are not SOHC anymore.....

I have a CLK500 2005....it drives like crap.
The technology in the car is very limited.

For 42K, and 15K miles on it? That's a rip for the car.

Also...it's built on the OLD C Class platform...

The car is an overpriced piece of crap.

I would get a 335i coupe...I have one on order now.
Can't wait to dump the CLK500.

Its an old car they are about to replace and the value will drop dramatically when it does. This is why they are dealing.
