There’s a documentary on Netflix called “Behind The Curve” showcasing people who believe that Earth is a disc, not a globe.

What are your thoughts? I mean, there’s no indisputable evidence for either. I do find it a bit hilarious that all the experiments they did in the documentary didn’t help support their argument that Earth is flat.

IMO who cares? Does the shape of it affect our life’s in anyway? We seem to be living just fine for a really long time.

Can’t stand that series. I mean, Will Smith hosting? Wtf? He has no credibility whatsoever. And what is up with the overly dramatic music on everything and also the black background when interviewing people? Now the Formula 1 series, that’s something worth watching.

I watched a little of behind the curve but had to shut it off because it was boring and just absurd. The flat earth people are honestly just conspiracy theory morons. They present absolutely zero compelling evidence to dispute the mountains of evidence and common sense pointing to a round earth. You honestly get dumber listening to these people.

I was in the service with a guy who was a whack job religious nut who listened to his churches preachers cassettes every time he was off duty. The preacher believed that man never went to space or the moon, therefore his flock also didn't believe. There are some real moon-bats out there and I learned long ago that it was pointless in even having discussions with them and best to ignore them. These flat earth simpletons fit easily into that category.

The docu was funny, especially at the end when they had a “backup experiment” since their main one failed to prove Earth is flat. It failed yet again and the folks were like “hmm that’s interesting” as in “shit it’s round” and then the docu ended a la GoT Red Wedding style.

It was. 4chan started this as a joke to see if anyone was stupid enough to buy in. They won. Look up "free bleeding" too. I think 4chan does us a great service by helping us see that these people are out there.

All conspiracy theorists are cut from the same cloth, doesn't matter if they believe the Earth is flat or that 9/11 was an inside job.

It is human nature to seek a sense of "belonging." And these people are all oddballs who question everything for the sake of questioning, then latch onto a nonsensical contrarian point of view for the sake of being different. Thanks to the internet and social media, these clowns have found one another and created a "movement." They have found their sense of "belonging" in this world.

We shouldn't give them any attention but clearly that has not happened.
