New Cadillac Blackwing V8
It produces 550 BHP (558 PS) and 627 LB-FT (850 NM) in the new CT6-V so the next CT-V (or whatever they call the CTS-V replacement) should be a scary thing.

Precisely what I am thinking. I have seen -maybe- two or three of the CT6s since they were first produced, cant imagine Ill see many CT6s with this powerplant. Perhaps that would be different if Cadillac shoved it into one of their SUVs, as that is what I see on the roads with any frequency.
I agree, though people do go for the SUVs. Aside from that, Cadillac car sales are pathetic and GM's arrogance never ceases. |

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
