2020 Toyota Supra - Look at the interior - Anything familiar??
Came across this article about the new Supra...
[IMG][/IMG]https://newatlas.com/2020-toyota-sup...uction#gallery Interesting radio, heat/ AC interface. And that display screen and drive options look awfully familiar.

This car has more in common with an F30 interior than the Z4. Literally right out the BMW surplus parts bin. Makes sense as the G20 is now in production good way to dispose of leftover parts in inventory that won't be needed as replacement parts for existing F30 for awhile.

Yea I didn't realize that they were developed together and will be built in the same plant...kinda wish there were more differences between the two.
I know vehicles are globally sourced at this point but German parts blatantly in a Japanese car just doesn't roll of the tongue right. |

The E90 has a GM transmission. The MKIV had an engine co developed with Yamaha and a Getrag transmission. Tesla model s and x have interior pieces from previous gen Mercedes. I guess it's better than if it came from a Hyundai.

Electronic E-brake says a lot about this car's target customer.

Of course. I never expected Toyota to collaborate with BMW. Although the Supra already has so much hype toward it, BMW has to be able to tame it.

The top of the line z4 will have a big hp bump over the supra.

Supra looks good. All said and done, the boy racer in me would probably take one over a Z4. I just hope the price point does it justice and we don't see a trillion of it on the road like the FRS. Fully realize that last comment makes me sound like an elitist turd.

It is a bit strange, but monumental for both car companies. I'm sure Toyota is thrilled to collab with bmw. One major difference is the Supra is a 2 seater. The z4 has "backseats".
