SO i was driving back me in the 335i with 2other ppl, and my sis in her Clk350 convertible with 1 extra person, so after a long twisty rd, we end up at a long two lane rd, my sister who was behind me gets in the other lane to try to pass, i wait a few moments b4 i really push it so she could gain some speed, right as she trys to pass i push it and im dead even with her for a few moments not pulling any lengths on her, then i start pulling ahead, but the race ended shorty after, im sooo pissed, now my extremely annoying cocky sister thinks her car is faster, and im in shocked thinking wtf, i was surprised why my car didn't start pulling lengths on her quicker.

I pull on CLK500 Coupe very easily, so theres no excuse for a 320 cabrio. My car is stock. Clk's are shit slow especially if its a convertible. Even though in the 80~130 range we can take them easily. I am not sure about the 550's though. I find that all 500 (E, S, CLK) all have crappy acceleration and throttle response.

I sweaR to G0d, if I see another young and DUMB BRAT ask why his 335 is not fast enough, i'm going to push my car off a cliff???

How is it that all these Bimmer owners are a bunch of baggy pants with completely no brains??

and seriously, if u and ur buddy had for instance a f430 and a gallardo, u seriously dont think u'd try to push it and hav fun? dont kid urself, really...

Were you or were you not in sport mode?

What were your rpm's before you gunned it?

Too many unanswered variables to give you an exact answer what you did wrong. Like everyone said, you should have smoked her.

Nothing personal, but I blame this on bad driving. You should learn you car better.
