If you mean given up on searching, then yes I have. I really just don't give a shit anymore, and if some girl comes a long, then cool.. ive been single for a little more than 3 years. im pretty young so i really have no idea what can happen. idk, sometimes i really wonder if marriage and a serious relationship is really for me. all i know is that my good friends all have girlfriends and a good 85% of the time theyre with them / ditch me for them / flake on plans for their girlfriend. being single is great sometimes, but other times i really miss the companionship and the emotional connection. i also miss the awesome sex that you can really only have with someone labeled as a girlfriend / wife, whatever.

edit: and what really pisses me off is when you find a girl you really like (and i mean one of those truly all around awesome women) theyre already with some guy and to make it worse, the guy is usually a piece of shit. what makes me mad is that i know i could treat them so much better than their POS douchebag boyfriend. im just ranting now lol, sorry

I lived in a fraternity house for several years, so there were plenty of girls then. Since then I've just been hanging out with friends and enjoying the single life. It's great, I have so much more money and free time.

So, so true. On LI, every girl is a gold digging, stuck up, high maintenance bitch which makes it extremely difficult to filter out any good ones who are not already taken by some douchebag b/f.

If it happens it happens. Sometimes I think dwelling on it and wondering when makes it worse.

There's a girl I know I could date. But she's not really my type, slutty rep, and she annoys me pretty quickly. But I've always been attracted to her sexually. I've put off her advances in the past just because after a day she gets annoying. And because I knew I'd have to "court her" to get from A-Z.

I think she just got out of a relationship so I might just try and play my cards just to get some A. Being on a dry spell sucks hard.
