Best car for tall guys? (6'5 and taller)
I'm currently driving a 325xi sedan - it was the largest car I could find during my search a few years back. Being 6'8" it was hard to find somthing I could fit comfortably in. (I still dont know how yao ming fit into a toyota 4runner).
Are there any tall guys out there that have found the perfect sized car? I really want to stick with BMW but that would mean a 7-series - which I don't have the money or desire for right now.

Is headroom a problem? If so, have you thought of getting seat rails that make your seat lower.
Another thing I've seen is less material in the seat bottom.

Unfortunately, I've sat in the new Mercedes S550 and I have never been in a car where the seat goes back so far. A friend of mine who is 6'3" with a 36" inseam put the seat all the way back and he couldn't touch the pedals!
Like I said, unfortunately it's a Mercedes and it's an S class - not a BMW and expensive.

I considered adjusting the rails but I am looking to lease a car - I'm not too sure how that would work.

You've obviously never driven an H1..A buddy of mine was going to buy one and we went to test drive and it was the most uncomfortable truck ever!!! He's not even 6 feet tall and he couldnt barely fit...they have waaaayyyyy too big of a center console and the drivers seat is smushed up against the window...it BLOWS...I didn't even attempt sitting in it im 6'5" lol

Don't laugh...try sitting in a GTI or a Jetta...very roomy for a car that size.

I'm sorry but I'm 6'7'' 230 lbs and I move the seat FRONT about 2-3 inches in my 335 (coupe). I had it 1-2 inches front when I was 345 lbs...and it was more than comfortable...
You'll be fine in a 3 series. |

Jeremy Clarkson is 6'5" and was fitting in the P-50 (world's smallest car).

i am 6'1 , 15 years old and when i drive with my mom or brother next to me .(permit) my bro has 328i and mom has x5 4.4i and i seriously and honestly have to say that i drive more comfortably and more roomy in my bros car than in my moms. when i drive in my moms X5 i swear when we go over a speed bump there are 2 hits , tires hit the bump and my head heats the roof. go with the 3 series lol , trust me you will fit in there more than 90 % of the SUV's.

get a grand cherokee SRT8. You'll spend about the same as your 3er, and can have close to the same performance (minus the MPG). I was looking at one last weekend. If you really care about interior look, then you shouldn't look at anything other than a 2008. The dealer had an '07 and '08. I almost puked when I got into the '07 after I sat in the '08. The '08 has black leather seats, carpet, dash, roof, etc. It does a good job of hiding the cheap plastic look. The light gray in the '07 (only color available) looked horrific!
