Time-Lapse Road Trip Video
So I just had this idea. I put in a CarPC into my car. Next week, I'll be leaving southern cali and driving to ohio. Most of the drive is gonna be pretty boring but I was wondering if I should hook up a webcam to my roof and record the whole drive and then make a time-lapsed video of it. There's also a few really scenic drives I've read about online on the way that I'm trying to work into my route. May take a little longer but I'm sure they'll be worth it.
Any thoughts? |

Very interesting idea. I'm driving for Cincinnati Oh to SLC in a couple weeks. Cincinnati to Lincoln is nothing exciting, but Wyoming to SLC should be gorgeous.
The webcam would be one way to do it. My DSLR has a feature where it will just take continuous pictures on a timed interval. That's how most time lapse is made these days.
