I've always made it a habit to arrive 5-10 mins early. There's been times where I'm rushing it because of traffic, road blocks, etc. and it puts unnecessary stress on you to get there on time.

I used to work two jobs. I was a workaholic because I wanted to save up for my own place. At my part-time job, people knew me as the guy who was never late. At my full time job, people always joke that I show up to work late even though I never do.

Honestly, I hate showing up to work late. I also find it hard for me to show up to work early because I have so much things to do before going to work, including sleeping as one of them.

I just love the look on people's faces when I show up to work on time during massive snow storms, floods, and traffic chaos due to construction.

For the last 10 years, I've made my own hours. I used to get to work about 6:30a, but that slipped over the years. Lately I go in about 9, leave after lunch. Then agian, next Friday is my last day, so who cares?

30 min late, regularly, i used to go in an hour and a half late, but then i got called out on it. i always believed that if you show up at a reasonable time and get your work done well, then it doesnt matter.

when I worked in a office I always tried to be 5-10 minutes early. Now that I work for myself I still try to be slightly early but don't stress about it if I'm not.

I work in the newspaper business... and I am always to work far too early... to the tune of 1.5 hours early each day... work through lunch most days, and often have to stay late to stay on top of the work load... but I do love what I do, so I guess it is all worth it. The board of directors always make sure I am compensated accordingly. I'm a morning person... up at 4:30am every day... to the gym, then start my 1.5 hour trek to the office, and still am the first one there each week day.
