R8 V10 Roadtrip x Cadillac CTS-V2

My brother-in-law traded in his R35 GT-R for a 1st-gen Audi R8 V10. It fell to me to get proper pictures for him, but I didn't want to just stand around a parking lot, so we did a 2 days trip centered around the famous rock pools of Botanical Beach and Victoria, BC.

Love the first gen V10, primarily because you can get them Gated, however congrats and best of luck with it!

Yeah, he offered to switch cars for a stint... but I passed, because as you mentioned it is unfortunately an R-Tronic. He does know how to drive a manual, but as his previous weekend car was an R35 GT-R (DCT only) and the daily is a BMW F16 X6 (8AT only), I don't think it occurred to him to look for one with the gated manual.

As for mine, OF COURSE it is 1/1200 with the TR6060 6MT

I sold my 6MT R8 a couple years ago, I loved that car!! Especially the gated shifter!

A buddy of mine has a CTS-V wagon that is manual with no sunroof. Quite a rare car indeed.

Another buddy of mine who has car ADHD had a first gen V8 manual R8 with a nice exhaust. He traded it for a hot minute on a 911TT (991) and then for a 2015 GT3. Now he has a McLaren 570S! All within the last year.

I neglected to say he actually had two 911 GT3's. Both were 2015's. The first one was white and the second one was silver with a few more options. He had each of them for about 2 months
