That is some serious performance from a small 2,5L 5 banger...

This platform is crazy. That is 720S territory with stock motor and hybrid turbo. Insane!

Wow...not bad at all. If only they the RS3 wasn't so frumpy looking, it would make a great beater.

It speaks volumes when you consider the F8x with an additional cylinder, turbo, 0.5L of displacement, and two fewer drive-wheels to sap power does mid-130s with equivalent modifications, let alone mid-140s.

And people still think more than one turbo per bank of cylinders is cool...

Damn, that’s quick. Looks like it can perform at that level consistently which is more impressive.

What else is done to it?

This gets me even more excited the RS5 sportback. I love the looks of it and its size, its nearly perfect. Just wish we could get Avants here in the states.

I'm not that surprised. APR is a good tuner, and that is a lot of motor that's evolved over time to be quite strong.

Website states over 600 WHP, that's it.

Total cost for this is probably around $10K I'd venture to guess.

Jesus, I really love these cars, What an amazing soundtrack and just the right size. And 10's at 125 in totally doable street trim with a tune and E85.

I contacted APR and they don't have total pricing ATM.
I do however know these prices:
TTE625 Turbo - 2,100 Euro (exchange) 4200 Euro (outright)
APR Tuning will be approximately $900 - $1000
APR TCU Tuning $700
CAI $450
Intercooler System will be around $1000
Fuel System approximately $1700

So the total parts, minus the exhaust dump and wheels/tires would be approximately $7300 if you use your turbo or $9700 if you buy a new turbo and keep yours.
This would be minus labor. So, it would be realistic to get the performance for around $10K if you elect to go with your turbo.

The RS3 bases at $55K in the US. Quite a package for under $70K all said and done.
