I've got 5 separate exhaust videos that I want to merge.

I tried iMovie but it crashes whenever I import or try to export the final project.

I've looked for fixes for iMovie but that doesn't even work.

Can anyone recommend something to use? I want to post up the vids on here.

if its only for merging there is even online sites.. like this..

https://www.aconvert.com/video/merge/ .

if you want a program.. Open Shot, VideoPad. Avidemux, Blender, ZS4 Video Editor.. if you want to edit a bit also.. i highly recommend Final Cut..

what settings are you using to export from Imovie?

Yeah I saw there's a ton of online websites, I just wanted to use one that was recommended by people on the forum before I used any. Did you use that one?

I have no idea, i Just created a project - imported the video files, and then clicked the "share" button and tried to click on "file" and it just literally closes.
