I can see it's sporting it's new "S" grille. I like the fact it has less slats but I'm not liking the chrome look. Overall the V10 is looking 99% better.

I dont like the quads too much, Audi fixed it with oval exhausts that fit the bumper better. I think the front/rear vents had too many slats, Audi also fixed that. The huge side-intake look great too. Adds another dimension to the side of the car

I think he said something about the company firewall not allowing him to see them. I think he does most of his m3post.com posting from work haha

Those figures place the R8 well ahead of the M6 and should if the GTR figures are true mean it's going to be a decent rival to the big Nissan. Is there any weight figures as yet or whether it's going to receive a 7sp DSG in the near futures.

Here's a couple photos of an earlier European prototype with those changes except the chrome if anyone wanted a clearer image to see some of the changes:

BMW, where the f**k is our super car!!!

You've given us nothing to compare with the mercedes SL, you've given us nothing to compare with the Audi S8 and mercedes S63/65 AMG, you've given us nothing to compare with the mercedes ML63 AMG, and now. . . . you still haven't given us a super car, while your competitors have long since left you in their dust with their SLR's, Carrera GT's, R8's, and more. . . . so what gives?

Then your a great example of "beauty is in the eye of the beholder," and also "to each his own." Because you simply cannot deny the better performance, rarity, class, build quality, and pretty much everything else, of the R8 in comparison to the M3. Though dont get me wrong, I love the E92 M3, and particularly your Interlagos M3.

it will be a hot sell. I know of 4 other R8 owners that are on the list to give back to the dealer their R8 for the R10

Probably just R8 V10, I wonder if R8 S would be used. It's not the first time we've seen V10s in S models. The S6 and S8 have V10s.
