Why are comments greyed out behind photos/pic?

Also the comments just run together w/out breaks.

When using the App the images (your vehicle in this case) are being pushed to the front and any text in the thread is greyed out behind it. In addition there are no breaks between comments. It's just one long page.

I can't figure out why the app is doing this.

I noticed the same thing starting yesterday. Here's a screenshot. Makes it terribly frustrating to try and read a thread. FYI I'm on my Galaxy S8 on Android 7.0 bimmerpost version 4.3.12

Did you guys recently upgrade to android 7? Will install 7 tomorrow and see whats up!

Going to try to solve this today, we didn't change anything and it seems to still be working on our Pixel.

What device do you have?

Also does it happen on every thread?

across whole app. used to work fine maybe an app update issue? Android 7 Sony experia. not a device thing I think it's an app update.

Thanks We actually haven't touched the android app since November... Sounds like this issue just popped up this week?

Going to test on an experia now and see what happens. Then will push out an update within the hour. Would you mind running it and seeing if the issue is still there?

Ok just uploaded another version, can anyone tell me if it works?

I just tested on Google Pixel, Samsung S8 and it seems to work just fine so keeping fingers crossed.

If its still not working for you, any chance you could delete the app alltogether and re-download?

New update on the store should be 4.3.16

New update didn't do a single thing. Deleted and re-installed the app to no avail. This is on a Pixel 2 XL.

on Android app settings, tried clear cache. nope. tried clear data, nope.

deleted app, reinstalled. nope.

dunno, maybe the data feed is jacked up? no recent update you web view on the phone as far as I can tell.

even people's profile pics are full size and in the stream, not in a message header.

Nice! But I bet PMs don't work? If thats the case I think I found the underlying problem (Android snuck in a quiet update in the last week somewhere)
