after my stay with a friend in thailand i will be visiting my family in korea as well. i am 19 right now and have been to korea 11 times and counting. everytime i go my family basically does the same routine. so this year i want to plan and do something different. based on these threads, i have never been to these places before. any more detail on them? i always go to everland and lotte world get breakfast, lunch, and dinner at one of my aunt's three restaurants/food chains (mr.pizza is one of them and for those of you that know i think mr.pizza>american). don't forget the jaja-myoung service and fried chicken service haha.

i will be teaching english while im there which is new, need to make a few bucks while im on my vacation lol. but i really don't want to be excited the first two weeks and bored the rest of my stay as usual. any ideas?

get lots of bulgogi, bibimbap, kimbap, chaby jim <-- might be wrong pronunciation,

try to find this famous restraunt that sells chicken ask the taxi driver. its the BOMB
and the korean food there is off the hook. oh and you will find whole malls of cell phone stores. dont try to try anything on because you arnt allowed to. not even at puma. =[
to cross the street at downtown u usually haff to go underground.. o.o in seoul atleast.
go to a swimming pool resort.

korean people understand hand gestures very well. some speek fluent mandarin and alot speak some english. but since your going to teach english u should know korean. lol

got this from my pass experience in a 1 week tour of south korea last summer.

Lotte world isnt that great. they had a parade there and no one in that parade was korean. all caucasian, african america, and other races.
rides are boring if your pass the age of a young adult.

+1000. The food is cheap, delicious and you get heaps of kim chee with everything.

Also make a trip to DMZ and walk down the 3rd tunnel of aggression.

I can't believe you think you are going to be bored in Seoul.. I miss it there so much, just go about and do everything! , if you do get bored, I guess you can go to Jaejudo, or even Japan for a change?

omg jae judo was AMAZING. fin huge as shrimp grilled over open fire but my favorite live octopus freshly choped and served along with some type of white meat fish. they serve the fish by a big round table thing and i finished two of them myself with 3 bows of meso and the last thing was the octopus and the live tenticles are soo god to eat and fun too.

japan is an idea. got to look into that. im staying in thailand with friend 1.5 months and in korea 1.5 months and school starts.

Dude, fucking Jaejudo is BEAUTIFUL! You have to go if you haven't been yet. Explore Seoul...there is so much to do there. You could go visit Coex Mall, Lotte Mall, go drink and meet chicks...and as covered, Lotte World, etc. You could visit the countryside, which is also beautiful. Go visit Pusan too! And EAT! You cannot find better jahjangmyun anywhere else! hahaha

They are pretty good. You probably can get some girls there and have fun.

and... Ap-Ku is also good place to be. Try there, too.

So, pretty much clubs and alcoholes.
