With all the storms that are affecting many people and the coverage that it is getting from the news (rightfully so), it's easy to forget that today was the worst day in the history of our country. It completely changed the way we live and the view of the world. Please don't forget the significance of this day. I still pray for the families that lost love ones. Make sure you take time to appreciate all those that are close to you.

It is definitely fading a bit each year. I think it has to do with the storms, the lack of patriotism in the Us right now, and time. Its been 16 years.

I will never forget that day, I deployed right after it and have spent the better part of my adult life "over there". It was crazy to talk about it at work this morning, and I was the only one that was in when it happened.

I was in Manhattan on 9/11. First jet flew right over me. My girlfriend at the time happened to be at the WTC rail station and was killed by falling debris when said jet hit. Needless to say ill have no problem remembering.
