Why are governments moving to ban ICE?
Interesting article, if EV's are going to take over the market why the need for governments to ban the internal combustion engine.

Just like with enforcing CAFE regulations, it is more about lobbyists with their own agendas. I remember reading about Lee Iaccocca (sp) complaining that CAFE regulations and safety regulations weren't good since they had to build smaller cars to meet fuel economy standards but they were difficult to make as safe as the larger cars and those two factors (each individually) are driving up car prices for consumers. Consumers get sticker shock and don't buy cars. So there are businesses out there with agendas that will make them money if legislation gets passed. I'm not saying safety is a bad thing, just saying consumers aren't the ones pushing everything.

Stupidity and lack of common sense, about reason why Gov's do half the things they do.
That and leftists decided in their typical fallacy that ev cars are the answer to a problem that passenger cars make small contributions to. |
