http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...e=&cardist=457
To hell with a new 335i, let alone the M3....look at this monster for this price! My neighbor haggled down an 07 Ferrari F430 with 2300 miles to 135K....things are going down fast. |

I just spoke to my neighbor about the F430. He wasn't kidding whatsoever. He was doing business with a guy from NY who owned one and was asking 185K for it so my neighbor told him 120 for the hell of it and the guy came back at 135K, but my neighbor ended up backing out worried that it will be impossible for him to resell it when he wants to. He owns an old-school Ferrari right now so I know he is completely serious.
As for that M5, who knows, they could have priced it at the bottom of the market just to sell it if they were in trouble. My best friend's parents are going through foreclosure and had all their cars repo'd including a 7 Series...they were living very well and then it all went down the drain with real estate as they got in at the wrong time here in SoFla. I saw a figure that foreclosures are at 110% of normal rates or something like that and my good friend is the VP of a local bank here that does commercial loans and he says he just did his first foreclosure in over 7 years. When people need to get out, they need to get out at all costs. Not everybody owns gold anymore, just having cash in hand nowadays is a luxury. With the price of gas the way it is, I expect the used boat market to keep plummeting and cars to follow in suit. Like I said, that 07 F430 was no joke and we would have bought it if it was a year ago when we paid 110K for our SL550 on 20'' Mayas. |

I'll see my neighbor tomorrow and get the seller's contact information. I can practically guarantee you the seller is legitimate because my neighbor has been looking at F430, 360, and 997's for a while when he came across this seller. I will get the information for you as soon as possible. If you buy this car, I want a ride.

personally id never buy a used M, unless it is owned by a grandma which is not likely. i know exactly how i'd drive a new M if i got one, and im sure people think like me. too much $ for repairs and headaches w/ no warantee.
the only one i would do is an e30 325i and do a s50 swap then turbo it and put all m3 suspension on it. then you'd have a 20k BEAST with a new engine. e30 ftw. well i probably wouldn't do that but it sounds fun. maybe one day. |

I might be interested in a $135k pristine low-mileage F430
What's the market price for a left kidney again
