Dinan wants to keep the simplicity and add much more horsepower. To do this, they plan on a larger displacement for the M3, making it equivalent to a V10 5.7L engine, pulling 600-628 horsepower (depending on the performance parts the M3 has), and more than 400 lbs. of torque!

What does "making it equivalent to a V10 5.7 engine" mean?

Are we talking about a 5.7L V8? Or are we talking about a 5.7L V10 with two cylinders lopped off, meaning a 4.6L V8?

If the former, that will mean a very long stroke, meaning much higher wear and tear on the engine unless they lower redline. If the latter, I don't see how the power figures can be achieved reliably.

I talked to the guy at the Dinan booth, which basically had nothing at the booth for the E92 M3 except for some ugly wheels. He said they are coming out with a stroker kit and software. He says expect them sooner than later and a first product in maybe 2-3 months which is fast for them. The stroker kit for the M5 was 40k + 110 hours or so in labor. Expect something similar for the M3.
