Is It Possible My e92 328i Raped Him?
Hey everyone. I was on my way home last night from the Morongo Casino in Cabazon, Ca. I was on the 60 going west. It was 12:00am and this Suzuki Motor Cycle (Croch Rocket) pulled to the right of me and gave me the feeling that he wanted to play around. He pulled really close to my left. He counted to 3 with his fingers and we both "Gunned" it. He had me for like 3 seconds, and then I caught up and eventually passed him. We got up to 138mph. (Yes, I made sure there was no cars and no cops) he never caught back up with me. Did he not gas it all the way, or did I kick his ass?

if the bike was over 250cc then no. any sport bike would just stomp u, and saying bikes don't have top end i hope u guys mean like 160+.
120 or whatever is not top end for any sport bike. |

Also, the wind isn't too bad until around 150 if you are wearing leathers and then it is only because it buffets the helmet. OP: He was messing with you. Sorry. |

I kept my son's 900 SS Ducati "excercised" while he was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. If the Suzuki the guy was on is anything like my son's Duc a 328 won't touch it.

My bike can carry the front wheel well over 100mph. 0 to 60 in under 3 seconds, and a 1/4 mile in under 10 seconds. Top speed is just shy of 190mph. My 335i is fast, but my run-of-the-mill big bore sportbike could eat it for a snack between breakfast and lunch.

If you were driving a Veyron with it's ridiculous horsepower then maybe you would have won. But even if it was a 600cc Suzuki sportbike it still has 100hp or more in a sub 500lb package. Versus your car at just over twice the power but several times the weight...

I think I would of been shifting into 4th gear after I was done with you at 140mph on my Ducati..... However, most of the time I let go around 90 since there really isn't a point to prove between a 328 vs a bike.

Take it from me... I ride a Yamaha R6. No way you even came close with a 328i... he lifted off.
To compete with a 600cc sport bike in a car, you need the likes of a 911 Turbo (I know this for a fact). |

he let off for sure, but I never felt like a motorbike winning a race to a car is anything special. Different categories and capabilities.

Are you kiddin'? You'd been smoked even if he was running ProCede v.18 on a 385i...well, maybe a 385 (but only if he was on a 600cc).

Is this thread even for real?
Unless you have 10 sec car, forget about racing a bike I was able to take anything on the road with my R6 (it's not even 1000cc, just 600cc) and that was without redlining it Funny story though Oh, and the top speed is usually above 170mph on most sport bikes |
