I went to rolex boutique in downtown Vancouver, Canada. I was told submariner is only can be purchased second (after you buy 1 there) watch. The sales guy told me " well, submariner is only around $10000, but it has to be 2nd warch. It will take around a month and we only get one every month."

While the submariner is one dive watch model, it is not the only dive watch that Rolex sells. The regular submariner can be had for much less.

At $10k I assume you're looking at something that is not the regular stainless steel submariner.

Absolute bullshit. I have 3 rolexes and know one of the dealers in Toronto and another in Montreal. Never heard this before and certainly sounds crazy. I would not return to that dealer. Find another one. Even better get one from Alberta, they're desperate to sell because of their financial woes and their tax is only 5% you'll more than recoup the cost of the trip.

Probably too late now but I get my watches from a company called Swap Watch, they do new and used quality watches I got a submariner from there http://www.swap-watch.co.uk/product/...ariner-114060/ but they have lots of them, all come with box and papers

They even have watches which the shops have told me "You just can't get"

the rolex boutique left me bad taste. I called them a week ago, inquire about gmt blnr model and was told same story again. Only to be purchased as 2nd watch.

Furtunately, I managed to get hold of someone that helped me in the past helping me getting one for me.
