Ive had enough of that guy (bush).. Im so sick and tired of hearing "war on terror" yet hes causing terror in his own country. I say we pass a law preventing any rednecks from being president.

I say let's just declare California's independence. F*ck the rest of the country. Half of the BMWs come in through our ports anyways. We'll take vegas, hawaii, and alaska. New York can come too if they want. Arnold can be our first president.

I love when people who have no clue about how our country is run comment about events and immediately blame Bush. A lot of people screwed up, however, Bush is not one of them this time.

Red states rule.
However, I believe it is against the forum rules to discuss politics or religion. It causes arguments which never end up pretty.

I love how people who have no clue what other people knows decides to comment about their comments. Bush screwed up right here... "Responding to bipartisan calls that the deal be revisited — and perhaps disapproved — Bush was blunt. Lawmakers "ought to listen to what I have to say about this," he told reporters. "They ought to look at the facts and understand the consequences of what they're going to do. But if they pass a law, I'll deal with it, with a veto.""

Nah, I don't think so. I've been in plenty of religious and political debates here, and they all worked out ok. As long as we all stay repectful and present our opinions respectfully, and don't flame anyone else, we'll be ok. |

I'm not really Bush supporter, but I am a Republican. I don't really like any politicians though, it's more of just choosing whoever I think is going to do the job a little less worse.

Nope, it's not in the rules. Anything can be discussed - literally 'discussed' because per the rules, no type of attacking is allowed.
All I can say about Bush is what I saw on a bumper sticker in New York (while I was there): I'd rather have a President that screwed an intern instead of one that screwed the country

I think I would vote for McCain, or even Hilary. I mean at this point, even Ross Perot is looking pretty good.

I've read about this specific subject, and it's not Bush's fault, or for that matter, any major concern to blame the President . The main argument is that it's a Dubai (read: Middle East) company that's going to be running these ports. Most of our ports are already run by foreign companies, granted this would be the first Middle East company. However, they were inspected and there was no legitimate reason to deny them the ports contract.
Anyways, there is a article in the NYTimes that describes everything pretty well and gives both sides of the argument: http://www.nytimes.com/2006/02/22/politics/22port.html |

everyday i try to figure out why anyone would support bush. im very open minded, and i like to see both sides of a story and make my own judgement. but probush people never actually have anything intelligent to say to defend him. they usually just do that thing that monaco did and say its someone else fault. All i know is bush started an unneeded war, took the country from finally being out of debt, to a record high debt, i believe we had record high unemployment during his term. the first attack on our soil in i dont know how many years. it definitly seems to be getting out of hand. and im 50% sure we are gonna have another 4 years of bush after this. Jeb.
sorry.. i know no one likes it when III bring up politics
