Does the BMW Warranty Work Worldwide?

A Friend Of Mine Wants To Import A BMW M3/4 but he is wondering if the USA warranty will work in the UAE. He has been told that the car will have a 2 year warranty in the uae. Please help thanks

I'm curious about this as well. I'm hoping to go to Germany as my next assignment and will be taking my M3.

I highly doubt it'd transfer to region to region because each country, BMW is managed by different management. Not only that parts are less accessible in some countries than others

I live in Germany right now and I know that on my M235i that I picked up brand new it came with a 2 yr unlimited mile European warranty. There is also the 4 yr 50,00 mile warranty (I believe that BMW changed the warranty for 2017) that starts once you take delivery so if you only had two years here, you would still have another two left on it in the states. That was the case when I left Italy with my 1 series back in 2012.

As for bringing the car to Germany I'm not sure. I can ask my guy over at BMW and see what he says or maybe another member can chime in on this.
