Awesome new TV car show "The Perfect Road"
*UPDATE* I was under the impressions after watching the pilot this was going to be a series, but it appears as if for now it's just a 1 hour special.
I'm holding out hope they'll make it a series. So I came across a great new car series last night on the History Channel called: The Perfect Road with Magnus Walker. It's the kind of car show I love and is completely different from all the others out there. There's no scripted nonsense or idiotic challenges, I'm talking about you Top Gear. He interviews other car enthusiasts while checking out their collections. You see plenty of road time in the cars too, which is refreshing. This is definitely my new "go to" show. If you're not familiar Magnus Walker he is a huge Porsche enthusiast & fabricator who has his own shop in Downtown LA. He deals with the old air cooled Porsches and likes to mod/update them for daily and track use (drive the car you're gonna race to the track then back home again). His style is definitely unique. I don't know where to get last nights episode but here is a little youtube vid of what he's about.

An exciting year for automotive television (sans the new Top Gear).
Thanks for the heads up, will definitely be on the lookout for this.

Had no idea he has his own show. Already a fan, and will be setting the DVR to record these puppies tonight. Thanks, OP!

^I only found it on DirecTV by searching with the App. Then, it was an on-demand dowload from the History Channel. When I checked "other showings" after download there are no air times - only download from on demand.

Sorry guys, I was under the impression it was going to be a series after I watched the pilot.
Not sure if they changed the description on History channel website but it reads "One Hour Special". I'll change the description so I don't get peoples hopes up too much. Damn, that's bums me out. I'm going to hold out hope that it was popular enough they'll do more episodes later on.
