Starting an NBA team...
If you were to start an NBA team - what player from history would you pick o build the team around?
Why? As a side bar question - who would you pick fro the history of the NBA to take a potential game winning shot? |

Michael Jordan
If I started a team, I would want loyal customers. Whether or not someone eclipses his ability, people will still fight for GOAT because of his branding. Game winning shot? Michael Jordan He has missed many, many, game losing shots. However, he still has it in it him to demand the ball in front of millions for that chance. Steph Curry seems like money though. |

To build the team, I'd either have Jordan or Tim Duncan.....
For the last shot - I'd take Kobe though...or Curry. |

I'd pick Hakeem Olajuwon. He could dominate on both sides of the court and was underrated.
To take the game winning shot, I'd go with Kobe.

My unstoppable team:
Jordan (SG) - GOAT Kareem (C) - Great all-around center that won't clog the lane Bird (SF) Duncan (PF) Curry (PG) - Cause you need the best 3-pt shooter ever. His range and efficiency alone would spread the defense. Man, this team would just be fun to watch. Team basketball at its finest. Edit: I could be persuaded to switch Curry out for Magic. Either one coming off the bench would be awesome. |

He is only good NOW becuase the rules allows him to be In the era of handchecks and hard fouls he'd at best be a role player like Hodges or Dennis Johnson Great shooter yes, but notuch else Being guarded by say a Derek Harper or dumars with their tough physical play , curry night avg 16 a game at best How ever , place say Jordan in today's league he'd av over 50 Put bird on today's league with his health and he'd probably avg a triple doulbe. I mean the man was playing chess while everyone was playing checkers |

1- Magic
2-MJ 3- Bird 4- LBJ 5- Bill Russell There's 74-8 for you. MJ for the last shot. Saw him dagger way too many opponents to not give him the ball when everything is on the line.
