What is your Ethnicity?
(NOT Nationality, but Ethnicity)
I'm doing this poll out of curiosity. I noticed that there are a lot of Asian e90 enthusiasts (me included) in the meets I have attended here in the Southern Cal area. Surprised me. |

1/1 Chinese.
Technically I'm half Vietnamese but since my Chinese parents despise Vietnamese, they inculcate the fact that my lineage should only be carried on paternally. Thus, I should be pure Chinese despite the fact that my grandmothers are Vietnamese. And that my parents grew up in Vietnam. And my first, lost language was Vietnamese. Heheh. There's quite a few folks like me, actually - I think they call them Chinese refugees from the Vietnam War or something. |

For example, a Mexican person born in the United States would be Hispanic by Ethnicity, and American by Nationality. |
