UPDATE: 2016 12 Hours of Sebring Video & Photos
Pumped for Sebring next week! Anyone else attending?
It's my first time going, any recommendations for good shots throughout the track? UPDATE: Here are some very amateur pics and a video I took of the race!

I've been going the past 4 years. Paddock is definitely a must. I always like to watch the start of the race on the spectator hill between turns 3 & 4. Great view of the entire field filing into turn 3.
I go with a small group of friends/co-workers. We're setup at turn 13 right next to the spectator hill where you can get some other shots up close. Honestly the track is friendly enough where you can get a nice variety of shots, just depends how much you're willing to walk. Hope you enjoy your first time. |

rain makes that track hell, parts of the concrete are so polished its like oil, and they just painted the logo by start finish.
Hard to say, as it depends where you place the car, any team with drivers with a lot of seat time there will be in the advantage. Probably Porsche, track favors those cars a bit in the rain due to nice rotation and fast power down after apex. I was just up there Sat. and Sunday for a track day, lots of teams went to the day to test, in fact my friends and I were the only street cars. Lots of prep being done to the facility's. Quite a cool experience. Nothing like getting passed by a 991 RSR cup car in my 2 series coming out of 17. Man those things move, and sound amazing. At $800k it better. Plus the few ancillary millions for the support team. We were moving chicanes I suppose to simulate traffic |

Seeing those RSR's at Rolex were simply amazing. Probably my favorite car on the track. The sound was the best part.

I cannot get the IMSA.tv stream to stay up This series must have really gotten popular this year, because I watched most of last year through IMSA.tv and didn't have any issues. I guess it doesn't help that they finally fixed their app so it doesn't crash every time you launch it. That means tons of mobile users (read, husbands who can't get away with sitting around all day watching it at home lol) streaming.

Podium will have to do. Great showing for BMW today with 2nd place finishes in GTLM and GTD.
How ridiculously fast was that Ferrari 488 though? Jesus. Their fastest lap was a full second faster than the rest of the field. BoP inbound!

It was a great race. Nice job BMW for both 2nd place finishes!
I was really hoping the #100 M6 GTLM car was going to take 1st until it collided and spun out.

Looks like you had fun in the nice seats. My poncho, on the other hand, got a good bit of use. This was one of the more interesting things I saw: |
