No Yao. Sorry but Dikembe can't not handle the heavy minutes. You guys are in trouble, West is too strong.

Sports Illustrated is so prickish, we had to fight to get the cover when we won the Championship in 93/94 season. No one will give us credit ever, and that's okay. We've proved ourselves before, and we'll do it again. People will silently sulk as we continue to kick ass WITHOUT Yao. |

Let me know when their streak includes a repuatable team... lol
Beating the Nuggets was a good take though. They play Dallas this week, so they will lose most likely. |

As a diehard knicks fan, I have nothing else to cheer for this year so i'm really pulling for you guys... but you guys couldn't make it out of the first round with Yao when the West was good. How on earth do you think you're getting out of the first round without Yao when the West is even better?

Rockets did a great job winning 15 in a row! W00H00!
BUT.............. Though 60% of the games were played at Home. Over 50% of the streak consists of teams in the East. Of all the teams they played that's from the West, only 2 of the team is in the top 8.

Compared to last year. Houston's role players are actually hitting shots. Rafaer Alston is suprisingly becoming more of a consistent 3 point shooter and his on the floor leadership is growing. Their defense has picked up and it seems as though the rookies for Houston has really stepped up (Carl Landry, Aaron Brooks, and Louis Scola). The offense under Adelman is pretty good, there is more movement in the offense thanks to the high post and slashers/cutters. As far as what the OP was mentioning, it is true that Houston gets no respect from TNT/ESPN or any other NBA Analysts. Hopefully they can make it out of the first round and make some noise in the playoffs, so they could atleast get a little exposure of what a great team Houston is.
