Semi Pro sucks ass

Highly dissapointed. Will Ferrel is usually hilarious. This movie is one of those kinds that just has an occasional lol moment. I actually FELL ASLEEP. I've NEVER fallen asleep during a movie before. Slept through the last 15-20 minutes according to my friend. He wanted to fall asleep too.

It just felt very amateurish. I want to see another Ferrel movie on the level of Anchorman or Old School again.

I have not seen "Semi Pro" but I'm not surprised to hear that it sucks. Will Ferrel always has the same six jokes in every one of his movies and it's getting long in the tooth.

There should be a law that prevent Will Ferrell from making movies. Elf was funny for about five minutes. I found Anchorman to be pathetic, I felt so sorry For Christina Applegate. Blades of Glory was so bad (two guys in the 69 position, ha ha ha). A Night at the Roxbury was beyond bad.

Will Ferrel is one of my favorite comedian ever on SNL but it does not translate at all on the big screen. Any SNL alum sucked ass on the big screen.

Will Ferrell makes over $20M a movie. There must some demand for his movies in order for him to have such a price tag. He does not suck ass on the big screen. Talladega Night, Old School, Wedding Crashers, and Anchorman are some of my favorite movies; and I doubt I am alone in that sentiment.

Will Ferrell is pretty funny sometimes but a lot of his moives are "bleh". I've heard on TV once that he was trying to be the next Jim Carrey. If that's true, he's nowhere close. Jim Carrey is just naturally funny while Will Ferrel tries a little too hard.

Will Ferrell has run his coarse. His humor hasn't changed at all, and it's really old now. I don't find him that funny anymore.

Obviously, you are right about the demand to justify him getting a $20M paycheck per movie. I just don't find his tired routine funny anymore. I enjoyed Old School however. Thumbs down on the others.

I'd have to disagree with you here bud. Eddie Murphy (althought not recently) has made some good movies, Adam Sandler has made some good movies, Dan Akroyd has made some good movies (Ghostbusters was the shit!), Chevy Chase, Ben Stiller, Mike Meyers...etc. They were are SNL alum and they all have some pretty good movies (as well as a lot of crappy ones) under their belt.
