Best scenes from The Revenant
- the sun rising
- sunrise - sun rising through trees - again Leo's best lines: - labored breathing - raspy breathing - coughing - wheezing - difficulty breathing while crawling out of a horse at sunrise

The bear attack was pretty good and last fight, but this is a snooze-fest.
I will say if you need to see the forest watch this movie,if not there are surely better picks. |

My company published this book, and it was a pretty good read so I really should show my support for the movie....but I can't force myself to go to watch 2 hours of frozen joylessness.

I liked it but I like these kinds of movies.
Favorite scene was the opening fight scene at the pelt camp. Great camera work, great sound, great acting. |

I'm with you. It was pretty slow, but I think it was a great movie overall. I would love to know how they did the bear attack scene. The bear is obviously attacking something. Good CGI I guess. I do hope that Leo finally gets an Oscar. This movie was supposedly brutal to make as it was shot in sequence and the director was a bit of a crazy person.

That kind of makes me want to see it now. I love a good fight scene at the pelt camp!

I loved it and so did those around me. Just goes to show there are different strokes for different folks. Anytime I complain about the cold now all I have to do is think about Leo sleeping in a hollowed-out deer. THen I stop complaining and realize life isn't all that bad!

Yah, this was pretty much the worst thing ever. If someone had reminded me this was the same director as Birdman, I'd be $15 richer

I would like to know how Leo didn't get hypothermia/frost bite with the mid-winter river escapade.....they should have showed a realistic way he would survive that plunge with drying out/warming up scene.

Wow, some harsh critics in here. I'm guessing either most of you have ADD and can't watch a movie without continuous action, or just can't appreciate a period piece. I enjoyed the movie and the reminder of how harsh life could be in that era.

I like the deleted scene, where the Indians come back and cut him into three pieces and then his son's ghost puts him back together again and he LIVES ANOTHER DAY AGAIN OMG THIS GUY CANNOT BE DESTROYED!!!
Let me just jump off this cliff, where my horse dies, and I just walk it off and take a nap inside my horse. Unreal. I almost laughed out loud. Maybe this movie was a comedy? |
