Nomos Orion
Never knew we had a watch section on e90post! Was wondering what your thoughts are on this watch? My friend introduced me to Nomos back when I started getting into watches and thought the Orion looked beautiful (w/ gold indices and blue hands). I've been told the 35mm wears big for its size. I noticed these going for pretty decent prices on watchrecon and was thinking of picking one up.

Nomos is a very cool brand that has been making quality german horology at a modest price point (sub $2,000)
They offer in-house movements which is really neat considering many brands opt to 'mod' existing ETA movements at this price point and also in the high-end market (looking at you, Hublot.) If you are a fan of the minimalist design that will always look fresh, Nomos is a great choice for you. Cheers! |

The Saxon (and Glasshütte) watch tradition is long and interesting. It's a nice piece. Current tastes have favored larger watches of late. That said, I would definitely see a nice 35mm piece on your wrist before buying. You don't want buyer's remorse. I love the minimalist Bauhaus design.
