Amazon Fresh

Has anyone ever tried amazon fresh before. I just got a prime account that gives you access to amazon fresh and amazon pantry.

-You order what you want minimum is 50 bucks
-select a time you want it delivered
-and specify if its attend or unattended delivery

Bought a bunch of stuff today as I'm lazy to go to the store after work. Will see how this works out. Groceries are supposed to come tonight between 7 and 8
Prices are very competitive with supermarkets if not cheaper....

Haven't tried it yet. They have their own Amazon delivery trucks. I thought about it but I thought there was a yearly fee.

Just browsing the meats and it's pretty well priced. Most items looked to be less expensive than my local Publix.

Love me some AMAZON PRIME!

And I handle 90% of the grocery shopping as well. The thing is, I'm real picky about my produce. I need to see and feel it before I buy.

Publix (our Florida major grocery store) is starting something like Amazon Fresh. Minimum is $35 and you get a shopper who goes over your list. If something isn't available or the produce you want isn't up to par or better, they will text you and ask for guidance on replacements. They also shop from the back of house so it's from the produce that isn't been put out for sale yet.

Same deal as Fresh, you specify the delivery time and you can get delivery in as little as an hour.

We haven't tried it yet, but that's because we didn't learn of it until a few weeks ago and have been on vacation and headed out again tomorrow.

Hopefully will give it a try soon.

Yeah they sublet our their own couriers and it's just a random dude in a truck that has your phone number lol. I've had them call me before when they were waiting outside. Pretty cool service.

This isn't the first time Publix tried it. We liked it the first time (maybe 10 years ago?) but they shut it down. Sounds like they are using a delivery partner this time around so we'll see how it works out.

I had Amazon Fresh for a few months, it was good, prompt delivery, great prices. I switched to InstaCart because I couldn't do 100% of my shopping on Amazon Fresh. Once you get use to grocery delivery, you don't want to go to the store.

Yeah then the eye candy goes outside and scratches or dings the shit out of your car in the Miami-sized (i.e. miniature) parking spaces.

Because I'm a whiny Californian, would be nice if they offered more organic/grass-fed/etc. options, as I didn't see too many. Then again, many Whole Foods will deliver if that's your thing. Seems like a nice selection of Pat LaFrieda meats. Also nice that you can lump in a lot of other Amazon products for the same day delivery - seems like a win if you can get your Prime products faster AND skip a trip to the store all in one go.
