Like the concept but agree Randy as this loud tough-guy he's pretending to be someone he's not is not working..seems far too contrived. Much better if he were his normal self and speak in an instructive voice. Otherwise, while basic info, is always a good reminder and looking forward to other episodes in the series. Can see this going to more intermediate/advanced techniques as instruction from a pro is always valuable.
