The Pics: BMW Zambesi Auto Tour. A Dealer Down South of the equator :-)
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com A couple of weeks back we (@arbee) attended a tour of one the biggest BMW Dealership's in our land, Zambesi Auto BMW in Pretoria South Africa. It gave us like ///minded individuals a chance to socialize, admire each others rides, witness the birth of a new Mini :-), enjoy some great food and finally gave members a chance to park their Bimmer's on a podium for some pics.... It is clear that e34 and e36 M Stole the show:-) And yes we got them ITB's :-) Check out the photo diary below.... Enjoy

Man, some of those e36/46's are in immaculate shape! I think I enjoy seeing those more than many of the newer models. Thanks for sharing!

Wow, that white E36 M3 is bloody gorgeous. Really makes me reconsider selling my Techno Violet.
Love seeing these old school M's. Thanks for sharing!

Nice photographs, thx for sharing! I love seeing the older M series, especially when they are so well taken care of, the e46 IMHO, is one of the best looking BMW's ever. It's good to see that folks can assemble around a common passion, cars in this instance, and put their differences behind them in the new South Africa.
PS: I spent about a year training at the Equestrian and Canine School in Pretoria back in the late 70's prior to heading to Namibia for the remainder of my National Service. I have lived in the US since 1991 and have never returned to Africa, but loved my time in Pretoria, it's a great city! |

Always wondered what that dealership looked like.
Bit too far away for a visit on normal days
