24 hrs at Daytona Meet Up Thread

With the various race threads I thought I would start one for meeting fellow members that are going to the races. I will be driving up from Miami with some buddies in an RV and getting to the track sometime around midday on Friday; we have an RV pass in the Geico Yellow RV Area by Turn 2, I have to check my pass at home for the exact space.

If you are at the race next weekend, stop by for a drink!

Update: We are site 2, row 15; one of the last sites at the exit of Turn 2. (The Oval Turn 2, not sure what turn it will be for the 24hr. race).

I'll be in the BMW corral by turn 2, so I'll look for you. I'm driving down, so if you see an Imperial Blue F15 X5 35d with NJ plates, it's probably me!

Anybody else on the board participating in the corral? There were only 50 tickets and they sold out.

Awesome! If the BMW Corral is by Turn 2 we will be close. We are Site 2, Row 15, right at the exit of Turn 2 (The Oval Turn 2, not sure what turn it will be for the 24hr. race).

2 of my friends and I are attending Daytona. We will arrive Saturday morning. Have garage access and camping out.

If you see a white 335is from FL... it's probably me!

il be down in the F80...dont have a corral parking pass but il def be around plenty...il be carrying around large nikon gear and probably in a BMW motorsports hat if i can find it!

Gotcha. Being wet and miserable is not a good way to start a race day! Is the track dry now?

After an extremely cold night the sun is out and warming up quickly. Should be a great race finish. RLL running 2nd and 5th in GTLM getting ready for the final push

That pic is from when I first got the car. Not sure if they had a 5k. I was just going for a jog.
