**Aston Martin x James Bond Spectre -- The new DB10 ***
The new Bond film has begun filming and the title was just released. It is the 24th outing of Bond and this time will see him once again going against Blofeld. With this launch, also came the debut of Bond's new Aston Martin, The DB10 So Blofeld is back! — Sir Roger Moore (sirrogermoore) December 4, 2014 But don't wait around, there will only be ten of these made. From AstonMartin.Com: 4 December 2014, Gaydon: Aston Martin together with EON Productions, the producers of the James Bond film franchise, unveiled Bond’s stunning new car, the Aston Martin DB10, on the 007 stage at Pinewood Studios. The luxury British sports car brand is delighted to confirm that James Bond will once again drive an Aston Martin in Spectre. On this occasion, it will be a model developed specifically for the film and built in-house by the brand’s design and engineering teams. Led by Aston Martin Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman, the design team worked closely with the film’s director, Sam Mendes, to create the ultimate car for the world’s most famous spy. Celebrating the great British brand’s half century with Bond, which started with the iconic DB5, the DB10 gives a glimpse to the future design direction for the next generation of Aston Martins. Dr Andy Palmer, CEO of Aston Martin, said: “In the same year that we celebrate our 50-year relationship with 007, it seems doubly fitting that today we unveiled this wonderful new sports car created especially for James Bond. “To be partnering once again with EON Productions is great news for this company and for everyone around the world that loves to see Bond at the wheel of an Aston Martin. “I’m incredibly proud of everyone in the team at Gaydon who have brought this special project from concept to reality.” Production will be strictly limited to 10 of the bespoke sports cars, developed and built by the designers, engineers and highly skilled craftspeople at Aston Martin’s Gaydon headquarters. Spectre is due for general release on 6 November 2015. http://www.astonmartin.com/en-us/liv...ar-for-spectre

Very boring for an Aston Martin. The DBS was a real neck-turner, this not so much.

DB9 with a magic eraser taken to all the details, then bloated up some more. Not a fan.

Looks like a re-bodied and rebadged F-Type. I'm sure this car is only built for the film and will not be the DB10. By the size it looks more like Vantage than DB9 replacement. Headlights look like of Toyota FT-1. Anyway I like it. Excited for new Aston Martin and Maserati, to change from usual boringness of German (Porsche included) and superficiality of Italian (Maserati excluded).
Like Porsche and Audi? Yep, true. |

I agree that the shorter rear looks more vantage-ish in appearance and overall more like a concept car than anything. I am hoping that the body work will look a bit different when we see it on screen (though based on the previous films it is likely to be destroyed).

Nope, not like them at all. I'm talking about the large, empty spaces below the headlights where fog lights or air vents would be on an Audi or Porsche. Clearly it's not a production car but they left it looking very incomplete.
