PU Truck vs. E90 in parking lot

Has this happened to you? I was parked in the parking lot stall away from other cars so there are several spaces and to the left and right of me. My door was opened, then from behind this big old pickup truck/SUV type decides to pull in next to me and hits my door! I was thinking (a) what are the chances? (b) Why is this truck HERE? (c) WTF?

Yup, apparently the door edge just scrapped some plastic side of the truck. Thankfully, no damage. The truck moved forward to other stalls to park. I threw a few F bombs at that person and that was it.

ugh. I feel your pain. At least you got to tell the guy off, and thankfully you had no damage. I had a Z4 about a year ago, and some jackass with a red SUV or truck opened his/her door onto the passenger front quarter panel and left an inside-out red zit! Body shop I went to filled it for free since I was a good customer, but man... reading your post just brought back the RAGE

Well, I don't want to profile, but that person was a she, and < 25. OK, OK, I should have watched my language, but it was a reflex thing.
