i started college fall and don't remember which fasa i applied for 06-07 or 07-08.

my main question is with spring semester comming do i need to reapply financial aid again for the 07-08?

lol well financial aid depot gone till tommorow. but i just wanted to see if i can find out here today.

You drive a 335i coupe and are asking for FA lol.. I know several people on FA and the line between being on it and not being on it is fine, even to the point they have to limit the number of hours they work so they dont go over the max cut off for FA. And yes each semester you have to apply for it.

Sorry to say it but your a sad waste if you drive a 335i and are on FA, I know people who deserve it more than you who have been working since they were 14 years old and have to pay for everything. Normally I wouldnt care but knowing people who depend on this and having someone take advantage of it is just sad..

im sorry but i don't understand what the 15k thing is about. i honestly have no clue what financial aid, tap, etc all are. i have the basic understanding of what it is and how everything turns out but didn't know they have specific number that qualify etc.

when i apply to college they told me i needed. so i just simply applied lol. a 335i is a $50k car so i still don't understand how im pretending to be rich lol.

u usually re-apply at the beginning of each year, so I'm pretty sure spring 07 is included in the 06-07 period

You should check out their website, here are the deadlines: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/before003a.htm

It seems you need the 07-08 School Year, which covers July 1st 2007 to June 30th 2008. That page also has a table for state specific deadline info.

Maybe he is thinking or is using the wrong word.. Financial aid is a tax payer program like welfare, its made for families and individuals who can not afford to pay for college. If your driving a 335i you shouldn't be on FA. Now a scholarship is something different.

How would you fell if someone on here was using their welfare checks in a scam and buying a BMW.. You would be pissed.

In my state you qualify for FA if you make less than $25k a year...

i don't pay for my own college. i pay half of my apartment, food, and expenses. college is through financial aid and im paying interest while in school on that too.

and no im not cheating the system. if i were they would take me off financial aid?

i don't really understand what makes a person qualify for FA but its what ive been on so.... i have no clue how education funds is handled in the UK. thanks for the link. i just reapplied for 07-08 and im good to go for next semester.

You seem like BMW EXECtuive trying to make it seem like he can afford everything on his own.

Also if you need financial aid and your parents cant pay for the school why do you have a 335. Shit could have atleast gotten a 328 or go down to it now.

But again if you made 100k at the age of 13 this shit should be easy for you.

you would be surprised. i have a small place in imperial port, NJ off exit 1 on palisades. i commute to school everday to manhattan. the area is not cheap let alone me paying just half the rent it still costs me alot plus my utilities which i have no problem paying.

if i seem like i can afford everything on my own i guess its just my wording and how you approach it. me being 18 paying half for apartment is a understandable agreement with parents as long as i take care of ultilities, etc. im young but am amazing at manazing my money, expenses, etc, yet alone a very important one in life.

my parent's didn't go to school in US. i am the first in my family to go to college. so you can understand my lack of financial aid, etc. guidence counsler and college deperatment told me to enlist and i did. parent's have no clue in detail what all this stuff is for.

financial aid is not just for the less fortunate. yes its mainly toward them but a vast majority of people like me still apply and recieve it, so what is the problem? im not a millionair and if i am qualified for it why do you care so much?

and no i didn't make 100k at age 13. it was 13 with progression i eventually made 100k.

why you always comming at me as shit being easy? not my fault your in whatever position your in to always be so negative and subjective.
