Who here is married or in a relationship?
And what does your wife/girlfriend/significant other think of your car? I've never had a girlfriend in the past that knew sh*t about cars unfortunately, nor could any of them see the justification behind me putting as much money as I do into my car instead of them.

Wife hates it because I never warn her before hitting the gas and shes normally reading in the passenger seat. Nieces and nephew love it tho. I justify the costs the same way she justifies all her books, so no questions asked there.

My wife drives a 14 X3 msport with a JB4 and complains whenever she has to drive something that has overboosted steering and too much body roll - be careful what you wish for, she used to not care so much until she drove a few BMW's and now will never go back!

I'd kill to marry a car girl (not a female car, a female that is into cars) one day, the only one I ever came across that was a 10/10, smart, and into cars was at a local test and tune night until her daddy came up and started answering my questions about her classic Camaro instead of her You guys are lucky! I'd rather have a woman with expensive taste in cars than expensive taste in hand bags or something equally useless :P

Did you say, "Who here is married to or in a relationship" with a BMW? That's pretty accurate. Very expensive, often unreliable and breaks down, high maintenance, must accessorize and get expensive silicon mods, gets outdated fast, the body gets rough, gets a chronic migraine, you get the idea.

She actually cried the night I bought it...went into her room and cried. Apparently it was because she brought home a surprise for me and I didn't tell her what I was doing after work, I wanted to surprise her.

My wife loves to drive my car once a week. Its a rocket compared to here Grand Cherokee 4x4 Overland. The Jeep is so much nicer though to ride in and features but she does enjoy the BMW once a week.

I have a gf, she knows nothing about cars lol, and Im happy with that. But thinks I'm ocd sometimes over my e92 and thinks I spend too much time at the carwash. (Once a week). However she caught me by surprise last week when we got home and I parked next to my other car (modified 96 integra gsr) and she said "sure you don't wanna take the teggy for a ride? its nice out" I was like wtf lol, you normally hate that car, you say its too loud. When if comes to modding I never say anything until she notices and when she asks is that new, I just play really dumb.

I'd rather have a gf that actually knows nothing about cars or ACTUALLY knows something about cars rather than one that pretends to be one or the other, which I HAVE had lol

Been married for a long time...my wife doesn't care if I drive my 335i, as long as she drives her Mercedes.

My wife (of 13 years) isn't a car nerd like me, but she appreciates the awesomeness of a good Bimmer. She learned to drive stick so we could sell her Pathfinder and buy an E34 M5. I just picked up a 335d over the weekend, and she was sporting a silly grin just after she mashed the throttle for the first time.

My wife believes that my bimmer's "The Mistress" and she's right, it is. She at least understands my passion for this brand though and doesn't mind my upgrading, now that I have a "BMW" account. Funny though, that thing is always on empty!
