3 days in Colorado
I'll be flying in to Colorado (city is yet to be decided) for a good three days (fri, sat, sun) at the end of this month. I'll be with a group of friends. This will be my first time in Colorado.
Anyone have any good suggestions on what to do, like say site seeing or hiking.. I'm pretty much down for anything. Thanks. |

It's really going to depend on what city you stay in unless you want to drive a couple of hours to see something. Are you looking for major attractions like Royal Gorge and Pikes Peak, or more local hangout stuff like breweries and nightlife?

I'm glad I could help I pride myself on bad trip suggestions. In the last trip idea thread I sent someone to Camp 14 outside of Pyongyang but havent heard back from them as to whether they liked it or not.

I'll be surprised if that doesn't one day turn up as a movie title about college buds get stoned in Vail or something.

Because of this stupid recreational marijuana crap in CO, there are tons of side effects for CO residents.
1. Out of state cops/troopers pulling CO license plate vehicles over to find any pots. 2. Company now spending extra money on hires for drug testing. (even some career jobs now). I do not like this rec. marijuana thing. |

Denver sucks IMO. I think it's an ugly city. Get out to Boulder and Breckenridge.

My first suggestion would be to check the local event schedule and go see a concert (any concert) at Red Rocks just for the experience.

If you like beer, there are numerous breweries that you can tour and do tastings at. As mentioned, seeing a concert at Red Rocks is another great suggestion.
