Hello Everyone!
Hope you are having a wonderful day!

My BMW 540iX is stuck in NJ/NY VPC due to a Ethernet Head Unit related stop sale. I just wanted to reach out and see if Anyone in this forum had a similar experience. If yes, how long did it take to resolve the issue.

Thankyou!

My car left Bremerhaven with that stop sale open and it arrives at the Baltimore VPC today and now shows closed already. So It should be quick.

Yes there is a way to check on this. In another thread about stop sales someone posted a link to a website that allows you to put in your VIN number and it will tell you if there's a stop sale as well as if it's been fixed.
Sadly I don't have that link but if you search the forum for "stop sales" you can probably find it.
I had a stop sale when my car reached port and it was cleared in less than 24 hours.
I hope you'll have the same experience.
Good luck.

Thankyou for the update Mikey…I feel your frustation. Its been 3 days at VDC but there is nothing new to report.Even the SA has no information on the potential date for the stop sale to be closed. Hopefully this wouldnt take long! Will update this thread if things move forward.
