Okay, maybe I'm dreaming, but I thought someone posted a comment about being able to purchase a rear trunk mat for the G60 that had a fold out option for a bumper protector?

The only two part numbers I've been able to find:

It piqued my interest, too, and I found this on the Spanish site: https://www.bmw.es/es/topics/accesor...ero-bmw30.html

It shows the sill protection mat as yet another accessory.

There is also clear, "permanently mounted" sill protection film (clear) but don't know if it exists for the i5 yet.

Thank you for this! Yes, now it make sense. It's a separate purchase via P/N: 51472407204. Looks like it attaches via some sort of rings in the trunk compartment. Can someone with a G60 confirm there are tie down rings for this?

What's also odd, is they list the following P/N's for the trunk mat: 51475A87FF8, 51475A87FF5, 51475A87FF6, 51475A87FF7

I can account for: 51-47-5-A87-FF6 and 51-47-5-A87-FF5, but the other two seem the same, so I have no idea if there are any differences with FF8 and FF7.

I think there may be a mistake in that description. I can’t search up the FF8 anywhere, so maybe it doesn’t exist.

The difference of the FF7 from the FF5/FF6 seems to be according to one description I ran across, that the FF7 is for i5, whereas the other two are for the regular ICE G60. This would make sense as the i5 trunk is of a different shape and I presume there is no option for a spare tire, hence only one i5 mat choice seperate from the two ICE mat choices.

I plan on keeping the floor liners in all the time. Especially since summers can be so dusty here, and winters tend to be wet.
