$84,000! So that means in a six-month period of ownership, I’ve would have a net loss of $35,520 (not including sales tax) because of the current deals and lease incentives. OUCH! On the contrary, it’s a good thing that I really love this vehicle, because I won’t be ordering an i5 M60 anytime soon!
When in doubt let’s hope you took gap insurance and have a big tree near you lol fi you ever do get the itch for a new car! But the IX is lovely a bit pricey even with an employee CEL but a stellar drive and feel

I’m sure they’ll get some crazy performance numbers but it’s going to be next to impossible to beat the F90 in a beauty contest. It’s hard to follow the last two generations of 5/M5. The G60 has some attractive features that give it promise for the future, but it would be wise not to park next to an F10 or G30. Just my opinion.

Oh listen I agree with you. I do believe my LCI F90 is the most elegant and sporty sedan bmw has made in many many years- it’s just plain beautiful while also being super sporty. It’s perfect to me honestly and anything new will be very very hard to top it. That’s why I’m content with keeping it for the foreseeable future. I will eventually want to upgrade. Maybe the LCI of the G90 wagon. One can hope lol

I’d like the way you think! I could always leave it in a very bad neighborhood. They are certainly all over Houston. I do have gap insurance through my insurance company. I always select it this way because it’s not that expensive and I can cancel it whenever I have equity in the vehicle.

yepp, whether people like the new model or not is a different story, but the g30/f90 will look dated once this hits the streets. Its been out for around ~7 years already.

The car is a good looking car. It just doesn’t scream 5 series to me the way the previous F10 and G30 iterations did. Those cars were styled with classic BMW character traits and they were beautiful. My knee jerk reaction to the E60 was ewww at first but I grew to love that car and eventually owned 2, an LCI 535i M Sport and an 06 M5 V10. Style wise, those cars aged very well. I hope that’s the case with this model also.

The only E60 that looked good was the M5.

Not true. The M sport models were very handsome. I didn’t like the standard bodies either but the M sport opted cars looked very nice with the wider bumpers, rocker panels and lowered ride height.

This car

still look so hideous.. Often, a new car that doesn't look good in the beginning can grow on me eventually. But I feel that that is not going to happen with this fugly G60.

It looks like somene didn’t park it back far enough in the garage and the last few inches of its nose got chopped off.

Through all the design twists in recent years you could count on the 5 to have semblance to a classic BMW look.

That streak has been broken.

Agree, miss my E60. I think the G60 will change a lot of opinions once its seen in person.

Really? a 550i M Sport doesn't look good to you? Honest question, not digging at you.

Saw a camo'd M5 being tested in CA. BMW Head of Design mentioned that the M5 and i5 M50 will be pretty much the same. From what I can vaguely make out in person, I believe it. The M5 I saw had dual quad exhausts, which you can see the outline on where it would be on the i5.

So yeah, I doubt the M5 is gonna look any different, except for maybe the tail lights. The camo'd M5 had pre production ones. The M5 Touring teaser clearly had different tail lights too.
