Installed aftermarket mods on my i5

Thought I’d start a thread to show/discuss any modifications…

I loved the look of the M Performance parts, but I didn’t think the carbon went well with the lots of gloss black (M60 specifically). Not to mention the huge price!

So I went for Maxton Design. Their front splitter and rear spoiler.

I’m not a fan of sunroofs tbh hence why I didn’t option one, but I did like how that option made the roof black. So I had mine wrapped in 3M high gloss black….

Here’s the results……

* the rear boot lid spoiler looks bigger in the photos, it’s actually more subtle in person…..

Not i5, so a little more subtle for me.
The M emblems on the side are now in black and door sills have been installed.
There will be black/white emblems and later winter wheels in black with red applications.

Are these basically just stickers that you can apply yourself?

I have just ordered the full kit from Maxton, did you get it fitted by them or elsewhere, also what was the eta on the parts?

Those are some nice high-quality photos that I will use as my last resort, however I am trying to avoid having to scale it out, when it can be so simply measured by someone who has the car with the badge installed by the factory.

I am thinking of my approach which would be to use the rim to get the measurement of scale, once I figure that out I can use that to determine the placement.

Hey, I just wanted to follow-up and see if these pieces have held up for you since purchasing them. Any issues with the quality/durability since installation? Thanks!

Anybody have the part number to this one? I like just the plain BMW lettering I found the other two online haven't been able to find this one.

Nice subtle changes!
What’s the difference with the Chinese G68 buttons?

Red with the black accents suits the i5 so well. The build your own tool doesn’t capture how good the wheels look in person. Beautiful BMW!

I'm normally not a fan of Maxton parts, but the front splitter for the G60 looks really good.
