looks great, it's nice that your oem paint is being protected during these winter months.

you'll be surprised how easy it is to maintain frozen paint or wrap with a good matte detailing spray and wash once a week and your golden. Good stuff man enjoy!

No, the inside has no wrap, but it is not a color change wrap, so it doesn’t look weird at all

One of the benefits of PPF is that any little scratches will be auto healed with a little sun light, so for the past 4 years, even thought they were mostly wash by automated car wash, their paints are all light new

Yes, I have a six-year-old car that I put PPF on when it was brand new.

I understand the benefits but I’m still super OCD about cleaning it.

When you do a matte wrap like this, do they do the area around the door latch? When you open any of the doors, where the sill plates are etc? …is the area just still BSM?

don't know about -20 C, but I used to wash my car when it was slightly below freezing. I just connect the hose to the sink(with hot and cold water) in the garage and made the water somewhat warm... washed the car and melted the snow/ice off the driveway at the same time. then I would bring the car back inside and used a propane forced air heater at a distance to blow off the surface.

Why not get a custom frozen black paint for $5k extra from the factory? Or is it more for frozen paints?

If you lease you don’t pay the full amount. It seems a bit exhorbitant to do that after market for the look. I can see the other benefits of PPF though.
