There's going to be both a 550e and the M560e????

So aside from the M5, in total, there are going to be 2 gas variants (530/540), 3 hybrids (530/550/M560) and then 2 electric (40/M60) - US market.

Or does the US not get the 530 hybrid?

Phew! That's a lot of 5 series models...

Is this accurate?

Depends on where in the world you are but yes, there are a lot of choices. US seems to get the 530i, 540i (ICE), 550e, M560e (PHEV), i5 eDrive40, xDrive40 and M60. No 530e in North America from what I can see.

In Canada we have it a little worse with at least no eDrive40 like you have in the US. No confirmation for the xDrive40 in Canada either yet.

Wow that really sucks. Was mentally planning to get one when my lease is up in 2025. I’m not ready to go full electric and I like my M-lite. At least I have time to see what they ultimately release by then.

550e Xdrive configurator is now available on BMW European sites, including BMW UK (for English readers).

Go explore tech specs...

COBodom -

Where are you finding the UK configurator for the 550E? I went to the BMW UK site and I’m not finding it. Thanks.

550e order guide?

Dealer says they have an order allocation for 550e for December. However, they don't have an order guide.

Anyone seen an order guide?

Thanks.
