It’s a BMW outage. I had the same yesterday and called the genius support in the app. The associate confirmed it impacted everyone. No status on that and suggested they update their phone queues to inform folks.

Thought it was back to working but perhaps not. My app updated and is now showing a different State of Charge from this morning and it is not the same as what is displayed in the car.

Mine is plugged in now. App is not showing charging status but it is showing some odd percentage of charging level, which would have been correct a few hours ago.

Departure time in the app still not working for me. It tells me the departure time has been updated but app still shows it as off.

Seems the app has been recovered. My charging status had been stuck at 99% for two days from April 6 afternoon to at least noon today. I just checked the app and it reported the correct status. During the stuck period, I could still receive notifications for charging status updates, planned schedules and the charge forward incentives.

Seems to be updating now. It updated once late yesterday but then still wasn't current. This morning it seems current again. Let's hope that's the end of that.

Had this issue last night, car was plugged but app showed not charging. I found it odd as I got the notification charging and when it would be completed. I walked to the car and could see the display showed charging and the level. This morning showed correct charge at 80%. I'll check it again next time I plug it in.

By the way, now that this seems to be fixed, car is no longer displaying upcoming from calendar or received navigation destinations. Anyone else seeing this?

I plugged my car in this morning around 8:15a. My BMW app is now showing my car plugged in and charging, but the app says my car is currently at 52% and the car says 50%.

Also, setting a precondition departure time still fails. Day 4 now

Mine is correct showing 67%. Yesterday, we couldn’t start the climate control remotely. I will try that later before I go out.

Just took a short drive to get lunch. When I got back and parked...my app is updating time, range and location. But range and battery % is still different in the car, compared to the app. VERY odd.

Mine appears to still be working. Try rebooting your phone and rebooting the car. I did that a couple of days ago and although it didn't fix anything at the time, maybe it will "reset" your systems and help.

I did that today and it worked but last update was 12:48 when looking tonight. So I re did the reset and it seems to be online again, still can’t get Spotify back up (normally I wouldn’t care but it’s easy to leave Taylor swift channel on for my 4 yr old daughter )
Other than still running the .47 software when the .53 and .73 are out makes me want to swing by dealer to get latest software. Not complaining, just interested in all the features the new car has!

Unfortunately, the dealer won't update your software unless there's a specific issue related to the software. If the Spotify issue is a larger backend BMW issue, they probably will not update the software. Also, new software updates do not always add new features. They are often invisible "bug fixes" that most would never even notice.
