2024 540i Release Questions
Hey all, would anyone be able to inform me on info about the 2024 540i? I know production begins in November, but when can we expect deliveries? When can orders first be placed at dealers? Are there any incentives for “pre-ordering” such as cash discounts, lower APR, faster turnaround, etc? And will the interaction bar be available or even standard, unlike the 530i? Looking forward to hearing the responses!

Interested to know but have no info yet. There is likely some ordering guide for 540, I have only seen one for i5 and 530 so far.

Most likely the allocations will become available at the dealer in September. Doubt there will be incentives on the early production. Delivery depends on where you are but estimate 5-6 weeks after production ends. Slightly shorter for east coast.

Another question - will it be a short production run eg the 2025 model will be released over the summer or will it be delayed to November? My lease is up next August and I’d rather the second year model.

About 4 weeks from order to build week
Hello - I just ordered a 2024 540I last week and I called the BMW Genius today and they have me for a week 7 build. So about four weeks from order to start of production. Not bad but I was hoping it might have gone more quickly!
