Nobody wants a wagon, or manual cars. So they don’t bring those cars to market. We need to speak with our wallets. And when we do, cars come. We have a handful of them… unfortunately not enough of us wanting a manual wagon. |

They would be if I had to suffer driving a wallowy automatic X5, though. Luckily I have options. Thanks BMW. But we have to do better to get even better options, so we are not doomed by automatic SUVs that do nothing well. |

Lots of differing opinions here, all fair and valid. I do like wagons, had a awesome a6 allroad. Why do I like wagons, lighter, better driving dynamics, better driving position, and comparable space to a SUV. Now when the wagon has less power, more weight, a crazy premium, and less space than my current 3 row SUV it understandbly makes me ask why?
For me a m3 wagon would have been a no brainer, this I'm not so sold on, and passed on leaving a down payment. Maybe I'll eat my words, that would be awesome. But a car I always thought I'd instantly jump at, I'll wait and see a few other new things coming to market, including hopefully the rs5 avant. Glad they made it, but sad around some of the decisions. |

Sorry guys, but people in the states don't really want this.
I grew up in Buick station wagons and I wouldn't gravitate towards this. I see poor sales here.

I did vote with my wallet by buying one of the last manual transmission cars available. I only buy manual, that is voting with my wallet as I have no interest in automatics. The G99 is not for me (although I love the looks and the idea of a wagon), because it’s automatic, and way out of my budget (I can’t vote with a wallet I don’t have lol) |

I'm voting and voted with my wallet. Own a F31 and #3 on the list at the dealer for G99. I was #1 (verbally) but apparently I got bumped down by two others who buy multiple cars a year. I guess I can't compete with that big of a wallet.

When I look at Porsche’s worldwide wagon sales I wonder if anyone really wants to own a wagon. The sales performance is downright terrible. Wagons just don’t seem to sell well at all. No wonder Porsche had to drastically cut back on the wagon models they offer.

I have 3 wagons currently and as an avid skier, camper, we see them mainly in the Rockies, New England, and even Washington/Oregon. I will bet that most wagon owners use that backspace for outdoor gear. Most wagons also seem to have a higher percentage of roof boxes, roof nests, or ski racks. Let other wagon owners chime in. I see them in Europe at the campgrounds and ski towns, but over 75% of all 3 and 5 series are wagons in Europe. The sales rep at Audi in Munich said "We don't sell any sedans" I am not saying the M wagon wont be amazing, but just not my style nor do I have 100K.

Won’t happen… only a few years left of the G8X… Neue Klasse maybe if G99 is successful.

What's the weight requirement for that? At least 6,000 lbs?
